Volunteer Program:
Join us for an adventure filled week to experience the pura vida (pure life) of Costa Rica and be involved in our meaningful volunteer projects. You’ll reside at a Biological Research Station in the spectacular Cloud Forest of Monteverde working with scientists and local researchers participating in vital conservation and preservation efforts of Costa Rica’s unique ecosystem.
In addition, you will:
- Tour coffee and chocolate plantations to learn about organic farming and fair trade
- Explore the dense cloud forests and tropical rain forests on day and night hikes to encounter a diverse species of birds, amphibians, reptiles
- Visit La Fortuna region, including Arenal Volcano and the Tabacon Hot Springs
Program Includes:
- Round trip from Toronto Pearson Airport to Costa Rica and coach transfers
- Accommodation at Biology Research Station
- Full breakfast, lunch & dinner daily
- Guided hikes, plantation tours, La Fortuna field trip, and local towns and markets
