Volunteer Program:
Journey with us to Belize for a meaningful week of volunteering with local marine scientists. Belize is home to the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world, beautiful beaches, tropical rain forests, and spectacular underground caverns. On your week abroad, you’ll work with marine scientists at the University of Belize to study marine ecologies and collect data on the coral reefs along Belize’s coast.
In addition, you will:
- Snorkel along the coral reef and experience a colourful and amazing underwater world
- Swim in naturally formed pools below waterfalls
- Tube through massive underground cave systems and explore ancient subterranean ruins
Program Includes:
- Round trip from Toronto Pearson Airport to Belize City and coach transfers
- Accommodation in twins at university residence
- Full breakfasts, lunches and dinners with juice/water daily
- Guided tours, visits and entrance fees
